1、确定philosophy，philosophy 一般有以下3大分类:

（1）positivism (实证主义)

（2）interpretationism(解释主义)

（3）post positivism (后实证主义)

商科类论文大多数用的都是positivism，这***需要用到定量分析

2、研究途径:

What——研究的主要内容

Where——做研究的地点

Why——这样做的原因

How——确定使用定性（qualitative）还是定量（quantitative）的研究方法

研究途径有以下两种：

deductive

Inductive

两者有何种区别呢？deductive是从theory到confirmation;

inductive是从observation推断出theory。

总结出以下公式：

deductive:theory——hypothesis——observation(test hypothesis)——confirmation

Inductive:Observation——pattern——tentative hypothesis——theory

3、 strategy and research design研究设计和策略

这部分主要解释收集数据的使用方法

survey (questionnaire or interview)

case study

action research

grounded theory

archival research

research design起到确保你将使用的data能够帮助到你的research question的作用。

4、数据的收集和分析方法

详细解释数据来源

对于定量分析quantitative,需要解释使用的是一手还是二手数据；

primary data:常见的是问卷调查

secondary data:公司年报、某个产品、领域的历史数据

对于定性分析，常见的有focus group, interview等
